Rental Terms

Current key terms · September 20, 2026

Important: This page summarizes major rental terms for convenience. It is not the rental contract and does not create a reservation. Every approved renter must review and sign DRIIVE Rentals LLC’s complete Vehicle Rental Agreement before receiving a vehicle. The signed agreement controls if this summary differs from it.

Rates and payment

The weekly rate is $400 for each seven-day period, paid in advance. When rental time is properly charged daily under the agreement, the daily rate is $65. Separate charges may apply for tolls, tickets, fees, fuel, damage, towing, or other amounts due.

Late payment

A weekly payment becomes late on the day after it is due. The agreement provides a $10 daily late fee, capped at $100 for each unpaid weekly payment. DRIIVE may terminate a rental for nonpayment and demand return of the vehicle.

License and insurance

The renter must have a valid driver’s license and maintain appropriate automobile insurance for the entire rental. Insurance must cover the intended use, including any required rideshare or delivery coverage. Insurance coverage is never guaranteed.

Authorized driver

Only the renter named in the signed agreement may operate the vehicle. The renter must provide truthful and current identity, license, insurance, use, accident, and claim information.

Mileage and location

Authorized weekly rentals include unlimited mileage. Vehicles must remain in Florida unless DRIIVE provides prior written authorization.

Permitted use

Vehicles may be used for lawful personal transportation and approved rideshare, delivery, courier, or gig work. Illegal, impaired, reckless, racing, off-road, abusive, or otherwise prohibited use is not allowed.

Returns and early returns

Renters must give at least 48 hours’ notice before a voluntary return. A qualifying early return during a prepaid week is recalculated at the $65 daily rate, and the remaining rental-rate difference is reimbursed as described in the agreement.

Fuel, tolls, and tickets

Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. Missing fuel is charged at $4.50 per gallon. Renters are responsible for actual tolls, tickets, citations, towing, impound charges, and violations from their rental period.

Damage and accidents

The renter may be financially responsible for vehicle loss or damage occurring during the rental to the extent stated in the agreement and allowed by law. Every accident, theft, vandalism event, tow, impound, or serious mechanical warning must be reported promptly.

Cleaning and keys

Smoking or vaping may result in a $250 remediation fee. Excessive cleaning may result in a $250 fee. A lost or unreturned key, remote, or key fob may result in a $250 fee.

GPS and telematics

Vehicles may contain GPS or telematics used for security, recovery, maintenance, mileage, vehicle status, agreement enforcement, and Florida-location compliance. Tampering with these systems is prohibited.

Availability and approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval, reserve a vehicle, or guarantee a specific make, model, year, color, or fuel type. Vehicle and replacement availability may change.
